Day 3 Innsbruck
The capital of Austria's Tyrol region, Innsbruck is famous as the site of two winter Olympics. Follow your guide through the quaint medieval streets of Old Town to the sparkling Golden Roof. Plus, you'll have time to explore the medieval city on your own.

Day 5 Day of Leisure with Passion Play Option ($298)
(Note: exact day of this Leisure Day/Passion Play experience is subject to change due to availability of play tickets.)

Your Optional Passion Play Ticket (additional cost $298) will include a seat at the historic Passion Play and motorcoach transfer to and from Oberammergau. In addition, your dinner on this night is also provided. The exact day you see the play may vary from what is listed here as the availability of play tickets varies daily.

ABOUT THE PLAY: A thankful village promised God -- now that the Black Plague had left their small village -- they would show their gratitude by putting on a Passion Play. And to ensure future generations would always remember, they vowed to do the play every decade. Over 370 years later, you will watch a one-of-a-kind spectacular. The Oberammergau Passion Play is a 6-hour musical and dramatic performance that every Christian should see.
Day 6 Italy and the Brenner Pass
Have your camera ready as you travel through the breathtaking Brenner Pass. Winding for 12 miles, the pass was once an important Roman road. The pass still connects Austria with Italy and takes you to Bressanone. The historic city of Bressanone was founded in 910. Today its quaint beauty entices residents and visitors to linger. You'll enjoy a stroll past magnificent architecture and visit some of the town's famous landmarks, including the elegant Cathedral which was begun in the 10th century and rebuilt many times.
Day 7 Castles & Churches Today is full of photographic wonders. You will visit the beautiful Abbey of Ettal and the picture-perfect Church in the Meadow at Wies. You will tour the magnificent Castle of Linderhof, Mad King Ludwig's main residence. This small royal palace is a delightful fantasy home for any crazy king or up-and-coming mogul. Perhaps you will take a few ideas home for your next remodel!
